My calling to chiropractic was inspired by witnessing my brother suffer from a fairly severe injury while playing football in high school. My brother was forced to sit out a game or two before seeing a local chiropractor. The doctor worked with him for a couple of sessions and got him playing the next week. Following a few more weeks of treatment, my brother was back to where he was before his injury! After witnessing my brother’s recovery, I went to shadow the chiropractor at work. During that time, I fell in love with chiropractic and knew that was the profession I would set off into.
I grew up in a small town at the western end of the upper peninsula of Michigan. I played various sports growing up, which always helped make the long winter months go by a lot quicker. After graduating from high school, I went on to attend Lake Superior State University where I played collegiate tennis before transferring to Michigan Technological University to complete a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science. Following my undergraduate degree, I continued my studies at Northwestern Health Sciences University in the Twin Cities.
I bring a conservative health care approach to my patients’ conditions. I hope to help resolve my Juneau chiropractic patients’ symptoms with a combination of chiropractic care and rehabilitation. My goal is to provide my patients with the greatest chance of success in managing their conditions and getting them living the way they deserve to.
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially my longtime girlfriend Audra. Fishing and the outdoors is something I grew up with in northern Michigan, and Alaska offers plenty of opportunities to catch trophy fish and enjoy all the beautiful scenery there is to take in. I also enjoy playing tennis, hockey and golf when I am not in the clinic.
I welcome Juneau chiropractic patients and prospective chiropractic patients to contact me at any time with questions or to discuss their condition and how Better Health can help.
