Patient Care Coordinator at Better Health Alaska in Anchorage

Hi. I’m the Patient Care Coordinator here at Better Health Alaska in Anchorage. My job is to help get new patients set up as well as schedule their future treatments. I schedule patients, coordinate to build treatment schedules, and also request and release medical records.
My Goal as the Patient Care Coordinator
My top priority is to take care of patients and help coordinate their care during a time that works for them. It’s great being able to meet people from all walks of life, hear their stories, and get to know them. I like that the patients here at Better Health are ready to get better and take charge of their life and destiny. I admire that type of can-do spirit!
And, of course, I love getting to know my amazing coworkers, too! It’s a great family here at Better Health!
I love taking care of people and being helpful. Ultimately, I’m hoping to create a new life where I can move to Korea. I have a profound respect for Korean culture and its customs. And I want to embrace and celebrate it as much as I can.
I enjoy watching K-Dramas, Anime, listening to K-Pop and going for walks. I also love spending time with my family and making memories.
My Background
I grew up in Minnesota and graduated from high school there. I spent 5 ½ years in the military (2 years MN Guard, 3 ½ Active). During that time, I went over to the Republic of South Korea twice. I’m currently learning Korean and will hopefully be able to converse in it by the end of the coming year.
I’m most passionate about learning Korean and providing a better life for my family.
