I pursued a career in chiropractic after watching it change the lives of family and friends. My first experience with chiropractic was through my father, who suffered a work injury which caused herniated discs in his low back. He was unable to work due to the severity of the injury and he chose to try chiropractic care. My father experienced complete recovery from his injury and was able to return to work.
Later in life, I took a position working at my uncle’s chiropractic office. My uncle really inspired me to pursue a career in chiropractic after watching first-hand how much of a difference he made in his patient’s lives. My personal experience with chiropractic, coupled with my father’s experience, is what led me to pursue my own career in chiropractic.
I grew up on a small farm in Northern Ohio near an amusement park called Cedar Point. Growing up on a farm gave me the opportunity to learn to respect the natural order of life. I was active in many youth programs like 4H, boy scouts and I played many different sports. I was team captain for both my cross-country and swim teams in high school and really enjoyed leading others to do their best.
After high school, I attended college at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I transferred to Logan College of Chiropractic in Missouri where I finished my bachelor’s in Human Science and completed my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. I am very passionate about helping others through conservative chiropractic care.
I prefer to treat patients from many different angles for optimum results. I appreciate having the option to utilize not only chiropractic but also exercise, massage, rehabilitation, and specialized decompression treatments. Listening to my patient’s concerns and applying chiropractic science to improve their lives is a refreshing part of my job. My passion includes watching patients grow into a better state of health and wellness and being a part of that journey.
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, especially with my wife Dixie and my daughters Veronica and Magnolia. Having grown up on a farm, I enjoy being in nature. Some of my favorite past times include hiking and camping in my free time. Reading a good book is one of my favorite ways to spend my spare time when the weather is severe.
